As in Frederik’s case, Asbjørn is somebody whose achievements in a top ensemble as The Danish String Quartet and capacities as a musician and chamber player are things that speak for themselves. Like his colleagues in the quartet he is a great company, during the concert of course, but not least afterwards. With Asbjørn, whether he does interesting concert pitches, instructs students or simply makes whatever constellation he plays in sound better, one gets never in doubt what he lives and breathes for: chamber music.
