HARPIST
The Royal Danish Orchestra is far from having any “Mrs. Nobody” on harp. One of their two string virtuosi is a lady who remembers very clearly the Japan tour she was on with the Berlin Philharmonic and Claudio Abbado, and whose appetite has led her much around in a search for guidance by the foremost harpists and pedagogues.
Being also inspired by jazz she brings all her international experience into her gorgeous and delicate playing in her orchestra as well as in her frequent chamber music appearances. Some of us will remember a breathtaking “Spiegel im Spiegel” in duo with Andreas Brantelid some years ago at the DSQ Festival.
