Matthias Flemming Petri is a bassist, composer, and arranger. Since his first appearances at the Danish jazz scene, he has been one of the most sought-after bassists in Denmark. Matthias Flemming Petri graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in New York. Since moving to Copenhagen in 2010, he has played with a wide range of major names on the international and national scene. Names such as Rakalam Bob Moses, Eric Reed, Ralph Moore, Aaron Parks, Palle Mikkelborg, Jakob Bro, Sinne Eeg and many more. Additionally, Matthias is the regular bassist in many highly acclaimed groups such as the Kresten Osgood Quintet, Nikolaj Bentzon Trio, Thomas Blachman Quartet, Otooto, and others.
